earth can`t be hollow, otherwise it would have weak field of gravity, implying unstable scattered atmosphere, thus depriving us of oxygen. We know that we have volcanoes that erupt lava, . Where would the lava come from if the inner surface was hollow? Liquid, molten lava is a result of high temperatures, which in itself is a result of high pressure. any matter that has mass and is subjected to very high pressures will have high temperature, implying that core is of dense material, that is pressurized. The pressure is created in this case by gravity, but gravity is dependent on how dense an object is, implying that core should have denser materials such as iron. If you go down in coal quarries in RSA, the temperature increases dramatically once you go below 2 km mark, implying increased temperatures closer to the center of earth, which hints to high pressure of dense mass. i even believe that gas giants like SAturn or uranus have liquid cores that give off heat because of high pressure.

USS Nautilus sailed under the North Pole, if there were an entrance to the inner Earth as claimed, this would not have been possible. Airplanes fly over the North Pole all the time, commercial airplanes and the passengers do not report any entrance into the Earth either. The North and the snow and the cold can make you crazy and such a report by Byrd was in all likelihood just an hallucination. Kind of like the ones that get those trapped in dessert terrains that mirages are really oceans of water just on the horizon.

I don't believe it's hollow although the stories are fascinating to entertain. I have always been curious...

Where do you think this goes?
"Mischief springs from the power which the moneyed interest derives from a paper currency which they are able to control, from the multitude of corporations with exclusive privileges... which are employed altogether for their benefit." ~Andrew Jackson

"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~Samuel Adams

Just because there might be a cave, is no validation of hollow earth. The same way shining a flashlight in your ear I could deduct that your head is empty. Oh, wait a minute.........

Like I said above, "I don't believe it's hollow although the stories are fascinating to entertain."

So, the question; Where do you think that hole goes? I have my speculation and it isn't an entrance to middle earth. I'm just curious what others think. That hole looks man made and has, what appears to be, a "cap".

Ok, I have a video of unknown origins. I plane is flying by what looks to be an entrance to Hollow Earth or could be an impact crater...though there is a light source come from this crater...there are also houses near by. Here is the video:

I know the earth is not hollow. That does not mean there are not massive caves or caverns

if your intersted in what it's really like at the center of the earth have a look at this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14678004

Im a layman, so forgive me, but I always wondered this- wouldnt centrifugal force (as minute as it might be) push at least a little of the earth's mass toward the outside like clothes in a washing machine?

It must to some extent and this can be seen in part in the tides. But the Earth's spin only amounts to .3 kilometer per second at the equator, so it's contribution with centrifugal forces is minimal compared to the enormous weight of the rock that makes up the planet.
